Other Assignments:   After Basic served with the 264 Transportation Company at Duc Pho, RVN- 1967 - Dec 1968.  After Vietnam I earned my E-6 stripes and was a Basic Training Drill Instructor unit until my DOS.

Remarks:   My aircraft was 852. my friend and crew chief was
Dwayne Mortel from Wis. Joseph Velez-Hernandez and Roy Royston lost on 5-12-69 were also my roommates.  I was supposed to fly ship #852 the day they went down, but Joseph had never been to Xuan Loc and he asked to trade places with me because he want to go there before going home.
