68th Assault Helicopter  Stories

A Poem by  John Bagosy - 68th Gunner

TO THE MEN AND WOMEN SERVING THERE COUNTRY TODAY

I see your in a raging war, so were we.

You have protesters, we had them too.

Your hardships are many, We feel your pain .

When its late at night and your all alone, remember you are in the hearts of your loved ones at home.

we are the many that went before you.

We have welcomed some of you into our eternal ranks.

You are the offspring of wars past.

We are 58,198 strong.

Stay strong my friends don’t ever bend, do what you must do to the very end.

Unlike you are Generals hands were tied.

We had a president that could not decide

We are the ghost soldiers of Viet nam
