Arrived in unit:  Dec. 1965 - Sp-5

Departed unit:   Apr. 1966 - Sp-5

Duties in unit:  Started out as Crew Chief gun ships, Then took over the Co ship

Other Assignments:     I was in Company "A", 501st Avn Bn the Rattlers & Firebirds and I was infused into the unit when it arrived and was assigned to the 68th AHC gun ships   Later tours in Vietnam I was with the CH-47s Geronimo's, and then with the 3rd tour with the 101st at Camp Eagle. My job in the 68th was to "Keep the "Old Man" happy!

Training:   11th Abn 82nd Abn 10th Special Forces changed to Aviation in 64.

DOS Army:   Retired 1977  SFC  23 years

Current Residence:   Atlantic Beach, Florida

Occupation:  Retired/ Fixer for all the folks in the area.

Family:    3 kids, 4 Grand kids. A son that went astray (Navy) he is a Capt. with a bird on his shoulder. 

Hobbies:  I fix things Bikes, Vacuums and sell on the side.
