Remarks:   I live near the downwind leg of Gray Army Airfield, Fort Lewis, WA where I find the familiar sound

of UH-60 and CH-47 traffic disturbingly comforting.  An inescapable aroma of JP4 and hydraulic fluid hits as I

cross nearby the airfield flight line during visits to Fort Lewis that even now brings back strong memories of time

at Bien Hoa. The 68th is never far from memory.
