Came back to Fort Benning to wait out my last year and separated in 1972. Went back to finish college and an advanced degree and joined the workforce in 1976. Spent 8 years in a National Guard tank battalion in San Diego, completed Armor Advanced and C&GS, and then just drifted out of the military. Still working until my college freshman daughter finishes college.
