Duties in unit:  Crew chief and Platoon Sgt

Other Assignments:  1965 Basic at Ft. Gordon, Vietnam in 1965 with 118th AHC.  Battalion Crew Chief 1967, Platoon Sgt in the 68th until the end of 1967.  Ft Sill Drill Sgt. 1968.  OCS, then Germany with the 3/36th Inf.

1970: returned to Vietnam with the 173rd; 1971-1973 with the 101st; 1974-75 at Ft Dix with the MP's; 1977-80 MP in Korea, CID and Young San MP's.  1981-82 Letterkenny Army Depot, PA. as the Provost Marshall.  1982-84 at Ft Sill in the Army Readiness Region.

Training:  Medic, Crew Chief, MP, Drill Sergeant, Airborne Infantry.

Retired Army:   Retired medically in 1984 while on the LTC list.

Now

Current Residence:   Luling, LA

Occupation:  Stockbroker, owner of a real estate company, and worked for a company that performed paramilitary training for the government.  Medically retired.

Family:  Wife of 37 years, 6 children, one of which is still at home.

Hobbies:  Writing.  I am currently writing a book about the 68th.  I will change some of the names to protect the innocent except for Honeycutt who needs no embellishment.
